1. How do I collect my race bib number?
You may be able to collect your bib number from the registration area at the Nyayo National Stadium on 5, 6, 7 and 8 of September 2024.
You will require your e-ticket to pick up your participant package. This will be shared a week to the event.

3. What race categories are there in the marathon?
The Nairobi City Marathon has several distances: Marathon (42KM), Half Marathon (21KM), 10KM Expressway Run, and the 6KM Fun Run.

5. What are the giveaways for participation in the marathon?

6. Is there prize money to be won?
Yes, for the marathon, half marathon and 10 km expressway distances Also, for all the distances, all participants receive a unique finisher's medal upon completing their respective runs and a participant T-shirt.
7. Is there luggage storage available at the venue?

There is luggage storage available at the marathon venue.

When handing in your sports bag for storage, you will be given a numbered sticker which you have to attach to your bib number. The same number will also be attached to your sports bag.

You will only be able to collect your sports bag by showing your bib number with the numbered sticker.

Note: Once you have handed in your sports bag, you will not be able to get it back until AFTER your finish. Storage will be at the event venue, The Nyayo National Stadium.
8. Are there changing rooms available at the venue?
There are changing rooms available.
Tents will be provided at the venue.
Note: There will be no showers in the changing rooms.
9. Are there pacers available to assist me to achieve a particular time?
There will be a real pacer team at the start to help you achieve your time! The Nairobi City Marathon wants to distinguish itself as a road race.
Several very experienced, mainly Kenyan pacers have committed to being the 42 KM pacers. It is specifically for that purpose that two pacers per finish time have been invited to guide the runners to the finish.
Pacers will be targeting the following times: 2hrs59, 3hsr15, 3hrs30, 3hrs45, 3hrs59, 4hrs15, 4hrs30, 4hrs45 and 5hrs. It will be easy to spot the pacers in the start zone by their colored flags showing their finish time
10. Are there water supply stations available along the course(s)?
There are 8 water stations provided along the course of each race. They are situated every 5KM.
There will be a final supply station at the finish line of the marathon (42KM) offering water and snacks.
11. How do I access my results after the marathon?
Participants may access full results online from the address www.nairobicitymarathon.com after the race.
12. And will all the events pass through the expressway?
All the events will pass through the expressway which will be a memorable event and also be awarded the finisher's medal.
13. What are the payment options available?
Card and Mobile Cash payments are available through Pesapal only after filling your race details.
