Nairobi City Marathon's 4th edition is set to take place on July 6, 2025.
The roads listed below will be closed as indicated.
From Saturday 10pm till Sunday 3pm
EXPRESSWAY
Closed from James Gichuru to JKIA both ways
From Sunday 12am till Sunday 11am
SOUTHERN BYPASS & LIKONI RD. EXITS TO MOMBASA RD.
Only the exits towards town closed
Alternative routes:
• Exits towards JKIA remain open
• Continue to Enterprise Rd. to turn
• Or continue to Langata exit to turn
From Sunday 12am till 10am
WAIYAKI WAY inner lanes
Closed from Musa Gitau Rd. all the way until entrance expressway
Alternative routes:
• James Gichuru Road
• Muthangari Road
From Sunday 12am till Sunday 2pm
UHURU HIGHWAY
Closed between Bunyala Roundabout & Kenyatta Ave
Alternative routes:
• Nairobi Ring Road network
From Sunday 12am till Sunday 11am
MOMBASA ROAD
Closed between Southern Bypass & Langata Roundabout
Closed Mombasa Rd. crossings at Capital Center, Popo Rd. & Kapiti Rd.
Alternative routes:
• Nairobi Ring Road network
From Sunday 12am till Sunday 4pm
KENYATTA AVENUE
Closed between PanAfric Hotel and Uhuru Highway
Alternative routes:
• Upper Hill Road
• State House Road
