Korir, who owns a personal best of 2:04:32, enters the race as the fastest athlete in the men's marathon field and one of the leading contenders for the title. The experienced road runner brings strong international credentials, including a fourth-place finish at the 2019 BMW Berlin Marathon, where he clocked 2:06:45 against a world-class field.
